• What is LTC? What part does it play in our Children’s & Youth Ministries at Belton?

North Texas Leadership Training for Christ is a duly recognized association of youth groups of the Churches of Christ and parachurch youth groups affiliated with the Churches of Christ. The purpose of NTLTC is to plan, organize, promote, and execute programs that assist young Christians to develop their knowledge of the Bible and Biblical principles, enhance their communication and leadership skills, and orient their energies and abilities to areas of Christian service.

At Belton Church of Christ, Leadership Training for Christ plays a supporting part of both the Children’s & Youth ministries.  LTC’s goal and purpose of assisting in the discovery and development of Biblical knowledge and service fits right in with the overall goal of the both ministry programs.

  • How do you register for events?

All event registration is done through this customized website.  Participants can register by going to the "Registration" button on the menu bar and selecting "Participant Registration" OR CLICK HERE.

  • Are Belton's LTC participants required to be in a particular event?

No, participants are not required to sign up for any particular event in order to be involved.  However, we encourage the Daily Devotional Challenge for all participants by offering a discounted participation fee.

  • Is travel to and from LTC provided?

Because LTC is intended to be a family event, participants do not travel together in the church buses but rather make their own travel arrangements. However, it is possible to have your child travel and stay with a family who will "sponsor" your child for the weekend.

  • How do you reserve a hotel room?

Hotel rooms are booked through Belton Church of Christ using this website. All congregations turn in their reservation list to the hotels to assist in their organization. Also, because hotel registration is done this way, LTC receives convention space at the hotels for a discount rate. Watch the church bulletin for information regarding when registration begins.

You can reserve a room by visiting the "Hotel" menu button and selecting "Hotel Request Form".

  • Where is the convention and what hotels do we stay in?

There are currently two conventions sites in Dallas for LTC.  Belton attends the convention located at the Hilton Anatole. The parents and participants stay in the Anatole or surrounding hotels. If the participant’s parents are not able to go, the participant needs to find a sponsoring family with whom to attend.

  • Where can I find ongoing information about LTC, practices, etc.?

The Practice Schedule can be found HERE.  All other ongoing information, updates, hotel signups, coach information, etc. can be found on this website, at the bulletin board (located in Communication Alley). Additionally, information like practice schedules, maps, and more can be found on our mobile app.
