Important information about the REMIND app
Here's some information about this move.

- DO I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD ANYTHING? You do NOT have to download the app. You will receive the messages as texts if you don't already have the app.
- DO I HAVE TO SIGN UP? If you are not currently receiving the messages, yes.
- HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN I'M ASSIGNED TO A GROUP? You will receive a notification when you are assigned to a group.
- HOW CAN I LEAVE A GROUP? If you wish to leave a group, you can 1) contact Bruce, 2) follow the instructions on the welcome notification, or 3) remove the "class" from within the REMIND app.
- DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING IF I'M ALREADY RECEIVING TEXTS? No. The below information & forms are for others who are not currently receiving texts (future teens & parents) and can be ignored at this time, unless you wish to receive the weekly emails.

There are a couple of ways to receive updates about what's going on in the Youth Ministry program.

Via Email -- You can sign up to receive the emailed bulletin with Youth Ministry announcements. These are sent on Friday mornings detailing the coming week's activities.
Via Text/Remind app -- You can sign up to receive up-to-date information (event times, signup reminders, etc.). These are sent multiple days of the week.
Via Website -- You can find the next week's announcements on this website by Wednesday night.

To sign up for one or both of these notifications, please follow the instructions below:

Instructions:
1) Find the group you wish to join.
2) Text the group's code (listed to the right of the group's name) to the number 81010.
3) After texting the code, you’ll then receive a welcome text from Remind. Approval is required before you will receive any notifications.
4) If you already have the Remind app, you will receive notifications through it. If you don't have the app, you will receive text messages. You can adjust how you receive notifications in the Remind app, as well.
5) If you have any trouble texting to 81010, try texting the group's code to (203) 416-6499.
