BYG Ministries is the name of Belton Church of Christ's ministry to teens in 6th-12th grade.

BYG Ministries got its name after several weeks of study as well as discussions with our teens to discover just what they wanted our youth group to be about.

BYG stands for "Belton Youth Group". We are a group, first and foremost. As a group, we want to be united; a group that is intended to build up and help one another.

The word “Ministries” is included because we also want this group to do things beyond itself. To serve and help others. To love people and love God. It starts with our group and then is lived out as a ministry.

Regarding the logo…Since we often refer to the Belton Church of Christ as BCC, you can see a “C” in the “B” of the logo. The “Y” could also be an “I”; as in the word “big”. The logo itself gets bigger as we believe our group and ministry will too.

Also, based on the teens’ input, the group’s resolution can be summarized as “Big God. Big Purpose. Big Impact.”

  • Big God – We want to grow in our relationship with God.
  • Big Purpose – We want to love others and introduce them to Christ.
  • Big Impact – We want to make a difference in this world.
